Enzo Jeremías Fernández, also known as just Enzo, is an Argentine professional football midfielder who plays central midfield for both the Argentina national team and Chelsea in the Premier League. The 22-year-old midfielder was born on January 17, 2001 and measures 1.78 m (5 ft 10 in) tall.

Fernández, a 2019 first-team debutant, joined River Plate after graduating from the academy. He then spent two seasons on loan at Defensa y Justicia.

The subtitles accompanying the photos purportedly identified the Argentine midfield player as a Muslim. The actual situation is very different, though. The photo was taken at an arbitrary moment while Fernandez was standing back up. He has publicly expressed his adherence to Roman Catholicism.
After his outstanding performance against Preston, Fernandez tweeted, once again displaying his Catholic heritage. He has a tattoo as well which reaffirms his faith.
