The essence of the quiz lies In gauging one’s immediate responses to situations, as the quiz’s creator contends that these reactions can unveil significant insights into one’s character. According to Felecia’s website, to participate in the CFAK test, individuals need to answer the following questions:
- When you receive something new in the mail, what is your initial reaction? Do you typically read the manual before using it?
- If someone breaks into your house in the middle of the night, what is your initial response? Are you inclined to go search for the intruder?
By noting down the answers and the resulting yes-no combination, participants can determine whether they embody the traits of a Cowboy, Fairy, Angel, or Knight.
Felecia Freely, a 31-year-old content creator residing in Brooklyn, New York, shared in an interview earlier with that she sees personality tests as a fun means to explore her fascination with psychology. She elucidated that there are only four distinct personality types and that it took her approximately two weeks to formulate the CFAK analysis.
Explaining her choice of archetypes, Freely stated, “I chose cowboys, fairies, angels, and knights because they’re all distinctively different from one another, and all embody a (superhuman)-like quality that people often aspire to.”

– Cowboys are described as confident and fearless risk-takers, including content creators, artists, entrepreneurs, writers, and even hackers.
– Fairies are considered the rarest of the CFAK traits, characterized by unconventional thinking and a tendency to disregard societal norms, often unintentionally making others uncomfortable. Many fairies are neurodivergent.
– Angels are known for creating a welcoming atmosphere, causing strangers to readily open up to them. They are seen as the “light of this world,” with many people wanting to protect and safeguard them.
– Knights are individuals who play a crucial role in maintaining and constructing the world as we know it. This category includes engineers, veterans, and those in scientific or construction fields due to their dependability.
Despite the CFAK quiz’s viral success on TikTok, its creator emphasizes that while it draws on psychological concepts, it should be regarded as an entertaining activity rather than a definitive statement about one’s psychology.
