In the novel Werewolf by Night, Jack Russell is a guy whose ancestors developed lycanthropy as a result of an accidental meeting with Dracula. Moreover, he kept a werewolf held in his Transylvanian palace. It’s a well-known story of a guy who receives the curse after being bitten by a werewolf.
