During the show, Ranveer Allahbadia is seen asking a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have s*x for the rest of your life or would you join in once and stop it forever?”

Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps, appeared in an episode of comedian Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent alongside Ashish Chanchlani and content creator Apoorva Mukhija aka The Rebel Kid with a video of her interacting with a contestant now viral.

After the contestant tried to belittle social media influencer and actress Apoorva by saying “v*gina mein sensation khatam hogayi hai kya,” The Rebel Kid was quick to retort, asking if “he had ever seen a v*gina in real life after his birth” much to the amusement of the audience.

Rohan Dua, a journalist and executive editor for The New Indian, attacked Allahbadia, Raina, and other program participants, asking why and how different politicians, celebrities, and businesses collaborated on podcasts with persons who were notorious for their flimsy public criticism.

Dua wrote, “Imagine the Indian celebrities, business czars & politicians who invite or do podcasts with men like @BeerBicepsGuy & @ReheSamay. If vulgarity & obscenity had any limit, such men annihilated it. How long my brother Indians & @MIB_India be quiet on this?”

Social media users have been outraged by Allahbadia’s offensive and obscene remarks in the episode, which also included YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani and content creator Apoorva Mukhija.

Neelesh Misra, a seasoned storyteller, songwriter, and former print journalist, too voiced his displeasure, drawing attention to the declining caliber of content production in India.

He wrote: “Meet the perverted creators who are shaping our country’s creative economy. This content is not designated as adult content, it can be seen with ease even by a child if the algorithm takes him or her there. The creators or the platform have zero sense of responsibility.”

During the outcry, a number of people also brought up the fact that Allahbadia’s request for a podcast with Prime Minister Narendra Modi was denied by the BJP leader, who was awarded “Disruptor of the Year” at the 2024 National Creators Award ceremony, which took place at Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam.

Numerous internet users questioned Gadkari, Irani, and Jaishankar on why they should never host such YouTubers who are by no means journalists and have lowered the caliber of their content in order to increase their following and reach.

Legal trouble

Advocate Seema Sindhu, Supreme Court, commented on the legal ramifications of Allahbadia’s remarks: “The comments can be booked under Section 294 and 295 of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita.” These comments are not just vulgar but also provoking incest. Both the sections are cognizable and bailable.”
