For one White Sox fan, the White Sox vs Astros playoff game turned into misery as he was punched in the face and had a drink thrown at him during the fight
Another day in the world of American sports, another brawl erupting between fans in the stadium.
The playoff game between Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros saw the White Sox being schooled on the day. However, it wasn’t just the side which was getting clobbered with one White Sox supporter being pummeled in the concourses by Astros supporters.
White Sox vs Astros Fans Fight Sees White Sox Fan Get Routed
The White Sox supporter had a drink spilled over him by the Astros fans as he left the Minute Maid Park. And as he stopped to give it back to the Astros fans, the White Sox fan ended up receiving a trouncing as he was punched directly in the face.

The footage captured of the melee shows one Astros fan coming to the rescue of the White Sox fan as he tried to break up the scuffle in a bid to ensure that things didn’t go further south.
The Houston Astros meanwhile defeated the Chicago White Sox 6-1 in Game 1 of their best-of-five American League Division Series. The Astros are now only two wins away from sealing a berth in the AL Championship Series, one which would be their fifth visit on the spin.
The Astros were the dominant force on the night right from minute one with them taking a 1-0 lead in the second on a Jake Meyers single. Alvarez who went onto get a home run as he launched a solo shot in the fifth, took Houston’s lead to 6-0.
