The former Australian captain Ricky Ponting was known for his bold approach. One of the most famous incidents is from Champions Trophy 2006 final’s post-match ceremony. Australia won their first-ever Champions Trophy. For trophy collection captain Ponting was asked to take that from Sharad Pawar who was the chairman of BCCI then.
