However, the side was unable to hang onto its lead as it shipped in the levelling goal just 90 seconds later with Jakub Pesek restoring parity for the hosts at the Sinobo Stadium. And despite Wales looking ominous henceforth, they ended up falling behind as goalkeeper Danny Ward sold the side down the river after conceding a torrid own goal.
Just four minutes into the second half, the Leicester City shot stopper ended up completely mishandling a back pass by Aaron Ramsey. While Ward did try to make amends for his debacle, he ended up slipping before crashing into the post to give the hosts the lead on the night.

Fortunately for him, Daniel James saved his blushes as he scored thereafter to see a mighty impressive Wales pull off a much deserved draw from the matchup.
The 69th minute goal for Wales keeps their hopes of finishing second in the group alive.
“He has made some really big saves throughout. These things happen from time to time but I am sure there is nothing to be worried about there. It is one of those things and we are glad he is in goal for us,” Aaron Ramsey said after the fixture as he jumped to the defence of his goalkeeper.
