However, in recent years, these requests have intensified, and now, many internet users are using social media as a weapon to fight for what they want. The renowned tutoring facility Drishti IAS is the most recent instance of this.
Drishti IAS’s well-known online educator Vikas Divyakirti’s viral video is causing a stir on the internet, and there have been demands for a company boycott after some social media users claimed that it hurt Hindus’ religious sensitivities.

Why Ban Drishti IAS Is Trending On Twitter?
The well-known UPSC teaching facility Drishti IAS has received negative media attention for the wrong reasons. Since Friday morning, Ban Drishti IAS has been trending on Twitter after a video of an alleged ludicrous comment about Lord Ram and Sita went viral on social media.
Vikas Divyakirti, a UPSC tutor, can be heard explaining Lord Ram and Sita in the video. He used a Sanskrit author’s words to equate the goddess Sita to ghee that has been tainted by a dog. A few students can be heard chuckling in the background after hearing his comments.
This isn’t the first time Vikas has besmirched Hinduism with him having an innate insatiable thirst to persistently slander the religion knowing he won’t be beheaded akin to other religions.
Along with videos of his hate-filled lectures people also shared a snippet of one of his lectures in which Vikas Divyakirti was seen accusing the Modi government of being hand-in-glove with Adani and promoting the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
