After accidentally shooting his cameraman with a crossbow during a live stream, Reice Mitchell, a Twitch broadcaster who goes by the moniker OfficialDuckStudios, has been banned from the platform.
The content creator had been training his aim on the stream when he attempted to shoot the arrow through the door, it was later discovered.
The since-deleted footage showed Joey, Reice’s cameraman, waiting on one side as Reice approached his door from the other. The stunt “horribly went wrong” when Joey could be heard wailing in pain on the other side, though.
Additionally, Joey revealed his injury live online, however the video is blurry. We’re telling you, the cameraman’s stomach was gushing blood, and it didn’t look good at all.
Reice tweeted after watching the stream:
Good stream boys. Playing it safe the rest of the night.”
Following his ban from Twitch, the following is what his channel currently says:
This channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”
Twitch strictly prohibits violence

Twitch streamers have recently encountered legal issues due to a number of failed antics.
The recently banned Reice Mitchell is well known for producing content that includes gameplay and parodies of other content creators. He typically works on this video with his two housemates.
In 2012, he started his OfficialDuckStudios channel. Since then, he has posted around 400 videos and amassed over 1.14 million subscribers. Twitch’s stance on “violence” and the “use of weapons” is, however, fairly strict.
According to the official community rules:
Acts and threats of violence are counterproductive to promoting a safe, inclusive, and friendly community. Violence on Twitch is taken seriously and is considered a zero-tolerance violation, and all accounts associated with such activities on Twitch will be indefinitely suspended.”
Netizens share alike examples of injury
Even if Reice hadn’t intended to hurt the cameraman, it was undoubtedly against Twitch’s policies to use weapons.
It is unknown whether or not his account will be published. On social media, the incident has drawn a number of unfavourable comments.
Many people started to think about the dangers of crossbow use. One user claims that crossbows can occasionally be even deadlier than weapons.
Was just talking with friends this past week about being shot with a crossbow bolt or an arrow is worse than being shot with a bullet due to penetration.”
He further said:
Internal damage that could be permanent, removal process and healing. A stunt where the cameraman is lucky to be alive. This should be taken with the utmost seriousness.”
Several Reddit users posted some of the most tragic events as a result of this action.
However, it made no difference in Reice’s case whether he requested to be suspended. The cameraman didn’t disclose any crimes because he was his friend. After finishing his show, Reice vowed to “No more streaming with alcohol.”
Joey, on the other hand, was given a drink after the wound. When the chat box realised how terrible the wounds were, it continued to spam “HOSPITAL” and “YOU SHOT JOEY.” One viewer shouted, “Attention idiots: go to the hospital!” Internal bleeding is possible. Stop being drunk morons and get actual care going .”
Reice urged Twitch to ban him after that. The streamer has since expressed regret for his actions. But once more, this occurrence is a sobering reminder of how carelessness, much less doing so while intoxicated, can lead to a terrible disaster.
Fans advised Joel and Reice not to attempt the act in the chatbox, but they did.
