The Welsh forward received the rebound from an unsuccessful right-side throw and slammed it into the bottom corner of the area. Moreover, the hosts owe a debt of gratitude to Keylor Navas who is regarded as one of the top goalkeepers in the world. The loanee from Paris St. Germain produced important stops against Luke Ayling, Wilfried Gnonto, and Luis Sinisterra in the first half. From six yards out, Leeds had the best chance to win the game.

In the second period, Leeds’ threat was almost completely erased. Forest easily held on to earn its third victory in five Premier League games, moving up to the 13th position in the standings. Leeds, led by Jesse Marsch, is now 17th in the league, one point above the relegation zone.
