The 1^st day of the Khelo India Youth Games KIYG 2023 Kabaddi event started off with a success on February 5, 2023, find out all the match results from day 1 along with the schedule and points table

The KIGY 2023 Kabaddi event is taking place in Abhay Prashal, Indore, Madhya Pradesh and will go on until February 9 .

Uttar Pradesh (boys) and Haryana (girls) were the first winners of the day with victories over Chandigarh and Maharashtra respectively.

KIYG 2023 Kabaddi Day 1 action

In the boys’ category, the event started off with the Pool B match between Uttar Pradesh and Chandigarh, where UP emerged winners with a score of 64-26. The next match took place in the Pool A fixture, where Vijay Kumar’s Super-10 and Manjeet’s High-5 helped Rajasthan register wins over Madhya Pradesh with a score of 55-33.

Maharashtra won against Bihar with a 38-32 score in the third match. The final match in Pool A featured Delhi and Chandigarh where Delhi won 59-30.

In the girl’s category, the defending champions Haryana squashed Maharashtra 42-35 during their Pool B encounter. The second match featured one-sided beatdown between Bihar and Chandigarh where Bihar won with a 59-24 scoreline.

In the third match of the KIYG 2023 Kabaddi event girls’ category, Madhya Pradesh beat Telangana 46-28. In the fourth and final clash, Himachal Pradesh won over West Bengal with a 45 – 32 score during their Pool B encounter.
