Street vendor Chandrika Gera Dixit left her job at Haldiram to open a “vada pav” stand in Sainik Vihar, Delhi. She became popular after receiving praise on social media for her entrepreneurial endeavours. Last month, she also worked with Dolly Chaiwala who was endorsed by Bill Gates. But a lot of people criticised her for her “attitude.”

Originally from Indore, Chandrika Gera Dixit is seen fighting her battle with police and municipal corporation officials that want to close down business named Mumbai ka famous Vada Pav.
A heated altercation between Chandrika Gera Dixit and Delhi police was captured on camera, and it went viral on Wednesday. Dixit was allegedly arrested by Delhi police, according to the footage.
“Jisne tereko bheja hai uski video bana” (Make video of the one who sent you), she said. During the uproar, she can also be heard abusing people standing around her. Shortly after, she departed the scene on her scooter.

Reactions to Dixit’s arrest video were mixed. One user commented, “I knew she was a fraud from the day she started her sob campaign.”
Another user remarked, “She knows where the money and fame are in new India.”

In a video posted to Instagram, Dixit revealed that she decided to celebrate her son’s birthday with a bhandara in Delhi’s Pitampura neighbourhood. People, however, objected to the event being held along a busy road. “Bhagwan ke bandare pe kiya mana,” she wrote as she shared the video.
Dixit got into a heated argument with the people in the crowd last week. Dixit and another woman engaged in a violent altercation. Men present at the scene, tried stopping the fight but Dixit was unstoppable.
Her almost 3 lakh followers are treated to reels. She can be seen working with other social media stars and selling vada pavs while wearing t-shirts having microphones.
