Aviation authorities report that two World War II-era aircraft collided on Saturday at an air display in Dallas, Texas. According to reports, the plane’s accident claimed the lives of six people. On social media, videos of the terrible incident have gone viral.
40 World War II-era aircraft were on display at “America’s Premier World War II Airshow,” which reportedly took place over Veterans Day weekend. Leah Block, a Commemorative Air Force spokesman, reported that there were five crew members aboard the B-17 and one on the P-63.

As many of you have now seen, we have had a terrible tragedy in our city today during an airshow. Many details remain unknown or unconfirmed at this time. The @NTSB has taken command of the crash scene with @DallasPD and @DallasFireRes_q continuing to provide support.

How Two World War II Airplanes Collided With Each Other?
The four-engined bomber known as the B-17 was crucial to the victory of the aerial bombardment against Germany during World War II. One of the most powerful bombers ever made, it had a reputation for being a workhorse.
On October 2, 2019, an accident at an airfield in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, was one of the last significant B-17 crashes, resulting in the deaths of seven persons.
On the other hand, Bell Aircraft created the P-63 Kingcobra during the same conflict, but the Soviet Air Force was the only one to employ it in actual combat.
Social media videos depict the smaller aircraft or P-63 Kingcobra closing down on the lower-flying B-17 before crashing into it. The two planes collided, broke apart into a great number of fragments, and fell to the earth.
Officials claim that the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), which led the investigation and provided updates, and the FAA also started inquiries.
