Currently, a free agent Ariza won a championship in 2009 while playing with the Lakers. He last appeared for Los Angeles in a second spell that began in 2021. Before that, he had played for a number of teams, including the Miami Heat, Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, Phoenix Suns, and Washington Capitals.
A restraining order has been issued.
According to the questioned paperwork, Bree, who is married to Ariza and has two children, is concerned for her safety and requests that the small forward be prohibited from visiting her home and from having any contact with her at all.
After four years of marriage, Bree filed for divorce from Trevor last year, alleging irreconcilable differences. Asserting that Trevor engaged in acts of extreme physical abuse towards her, she is also asking for sole custody. He mistreated her verbally and emotionally. Some of the assaults took place right in front of our kids, she continued.
The bigger picture
Bree mentions that Trevor lives a half-mile away, which makes her uneasy because she claims he has entered her home without her knowledge and believes he can come and go whenever he wants. Bree is alleged to have ignored Ariza’s warnings to change the locks on the house or he would leave her homeless. She also alleges that he has threatened to take the children away from her and is refusing to pay child support.
Bree remembered a supposed episode from 2021 in which she claimed a “very angry” Trevor showed up at her house and wanted her phone, which she refused to give him. She claims that he choked her until she was on the verge of passing out, hit her repeatedly, and tossed her into a bed.
In a second incident dated February 2020, Bree described how the player choked her till she passed out. “Me placing my hands on you has forced me to feel like I’m nothing,” Trevor texted her in September 2020, according to what she is reported to have revealed.
