As per the Youth Football and Cheerleading league the mother of a son reportedly violated multiple codes and conduct policies.
Emilla Rucker, Mother of Ivan told the Fox8 news outlet that, “This is ridiculous. How can you get that angry at a kids game?”
She further added, “Your son plays football, they tackle each other, that’s just the name of the game. How can you get that upset to chase him and not only chase him but curse at him while you’re chasing him.”
Not just the unidentified woman but along with her rest of her family members has been permanently banned from all events and activities.
As per reports, she also has to pay a $200 fine.
Emilla, the mother of the child who was chased said that, “I hate that her son has to suffer,” before saying that, “I hate that the team has to suffer, because we don’t hate them. We do this for fun.”
This dramatic football game was the first of the season for the Southside Ravens and they were up against the North West Gorillas.
The 12-year-old boy Ivan told the outlet, “Yeah, I picked him up and everything. He was actually trying to shake my hand after the play until his mom I guess started chasing after me.”
“Despite the behavior that was displayed by the opponent team, there was no reason that it escalated to that degree or manner. We are sincerely regretful on how this has affected everyone in and outside of our organization. We appreciate all of our dedicated parents who are continuously riding for us,”
