With the win against Rajasthan Royals, SRH are now placed in fourth place, above CSK and below LSG.
SRH secured six wins and four losses so far in their 10 matches in the tournament.

A video of Kavya Maran, the CEO of SunRisers Hyderabad, celebrating by doing the SIUU celebration has gone viral. Kavya was jumping and celebrating out of joy after her team secured a win against Rajasthan Royals by one run in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Kavya celebrated the impressive feat alongside the entire Orange Army at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
SRH secures dramatic last-bowl win
The match started off with SRH captain Pat Cummins deciding to bat first after winning the toss. However, the RR bowlers managed to pick up several early wickets and hold down the scoring. After the first eight overs, the hosts managed just 48/2. However, Travis Head stepped up and completed yet another IPL fifty to help the home side bounce back. Soon, Nitish Kumar Reddy, also stepped up and scored an impressive 76 out of just 42 balls. Heinrich Klaasen also joined in on the scoring with 42 off 19, to help SRH finish 201/3.
SRH Bhuvneshwar Kumar becomes player of the match
When it was time for SRH to bowl, Bhuvneshwar Kumar stepped up for team Orange and took out Rajasthan Royals’ two in-form batters, Jos Buttler and the captain, Sanju Samson. SRH secured quick wickets over RR, who needed just 13 to win. As the score got closer, with Rovman Powell needing just two off one against Bhuvneshwar Kumar, he eventually got knocked out on a full toss. The final wicket started wild celebrations among the SRH players and fans, including their CEO, Kavya Maran.
