Who Posted this Video?

Through the official Science Account of TikTok, a creator has posted a video saying that he had managed to ‘breed’ a spider and a caterpillar hybrid. He has named it as “Spider-Pillar”. 

The video was captioned as, “I made a caterpillar spider in my laboratory. I cal (call) them Spiderpillars”.

What’s in the Video?

In the video, the creator has shown behind the scenes of how they made these hybrids.

To make them, first he put together the eggs in a test tube and then the video flicks to little caterpillar larvae which grow and develop into little creatures that have a caterpillar like body with 4 long-legs at the front which actually looks like a spider. 

Among the comments, one user confirmed that the creature shown in the video as ‘hybrid’ is actually a lobster moth caterpillar which is not a hybrid at all. 

How are others reacting? 

However, most of the TikTok user’s are freaking out over this video. Some of them commented on the video as ‘these are the kind of things that will end the world’ while others have compared it with the Demogorgon of a famous Netflix show ‘Stranger Things’.

Another user commented, “He’s making an army, get ready”. While a fourth one said, “This is how the world is going to end”. Another commented, “Bros trying to make a Demogorgon”.

Another wrote, “Bro I’m living in space if I see one of those irl”. While some of them called it “amazing” and few others recommended the creator to try ‘making’ spiders with other animals. 

However, after all this, the muddled video has reached over more than 1.3 millions views and got over more than 3,000 comments and more than 110,000 likes.
