Sergio Perez completed his first public show with Red Bull as he took to the streets of Dallas to perform donuts ahead of the impending 2021 Formula 1 US Grand Prix
For the first time in two years since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Red Bull finall had its first public show run. The side took to the roads of Dallas ahead of the Formual 1 United States Grand Prix 2021 which will get underway later this week.
And the side handed over the duty of its run show to Sergio Perez who made his debut appearance in a public show. Perez drove the RB7 in Dallas, Texas with him also set to perform the side’s public show in Mexico later.

The show run took place in Dallas’ Harwood District with Perez and Red Bull athlete, motorcycle rider Aaron Colton at his side during the event. Perez was seen performing donuts on the streets much to the delight of the ardent F1 fans who had turned up to get a glimpse of the driver.

“Today was very special, I really enjoyed it,” said Perez. “It was the first-time doing donuts in the Red Bull car which was a lot of fun and it was definitely a day that none of us will forget soon.
“I always love visiting the US, I could feel the energy from the crowd and it was amazing to see the smiles on people’s faces. Thank you to all of the fans for the support today, it’s made me even more excited to race next weekend in Austin, hopefully we can make it another double podium,” Perez said after the event.
Perez is currently fifth in the Drivers’ Championship this season.
