Already he had hammered Adam Kownacki in the first bout between the two, many still doubted if Robert Helenius would be able to emulate the performance when the two boxers took on each other once again.

The undercard to Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3, Robert Helenius vs Adam Kownacki 2 was a repeat and not a revenge. In a lopsided affair, Robert silenced his naysayers in style as he battered Adam across the length of the contest before Adam was eventually disqualified in round 6.
Robert was the dominant fighter right from round one as he handed out a routing to Kownacki in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Robert was headed for an easy win before referee Celestino Ruiz intervened in round 6 of the 12 round fight to rule out Adam for the encounter.
It was down to Adam persistently impeding the rules as he consistently landed low blows to Robert. Ruiz went onto deduct a point from Adam in the fifth round for low blows before bringing an end to the matchup as Adam’s left eye was rendered obsolete as it shut under the brunt of Robert’s punches.

However, what made heads turn were the manager’s futile effort to wrench his COVID-19 mask away from his face. As he leapt onto Robert, the man in question failed to get his mask off his face despite a slew of efforts in a hilarious video which has since gone viral.
