Kevin Harvick and Chase Elliott went at loggerheads on a slew of occasions during the NASCAR Bristol Motor Speedway playoff race
As the ongoing season of NASCAR reaches it business end, the competition has flared up with the hotly contested nature of the competition seeing us be regaled in an intoxicating brew.
NASCAR’s playoff Cup race at Bristol Motor Speedway dished out the same with Kevin Harvick and Chase Elliot clashing with each other across the race. It all began when Elliot ran into the side of Harvick’s car which running laps.
Elliot’s move came in the wake of a green-flag pit stop in the final stage, one he was forced to opt for owing to a flat tire. As the two vied for second spot, Eliott ran precariously close to Harvick in a bid to overtake him.

While Harvick managed to stave off Elliot’s threat as he took second place behind winner Kyle Larson, he was far from pleased with Elliot’s style of racing. Harvick was seen livid, storming towards Elliot after parking his car with the two seen locking heads in a verbal confrontation.
Things took little time in turning ugly as the duo shoved each other before once again facing off near the haulers before going into Elliot’s hauler as the media closed in on the two.

Proceeding the scuffle, Harvick went onto talk about what had transpired with him fuming over what he envisaged was a misconduct on Elliot’s part.
“It’s all Chase’s way or it’s no way. And if he doesn’t get his way then he throws a fit,” Harvick said.
Harvick went onto add that he told Elliot he wanted to “rip his frickin’ head off” when they first spoke.
