The two almost came to blows on Saturday during a training session ahead of the Selacao’s friendly with Japan on Monday. Richarlison screamed at the Real Madrid winger while seizing his jersey, although it’s unclear what sparked the altercation.

The pair’s colleagues, including PSG superstar Neymar, raced in to separate them. Richarlison, on the other hand, appeared enraged by their actions, grimacing when Neymar threw his arms around his neck.

Cooler heads eventually prevailed after the two were separated and sent their separate ways.

The incident instantly became the buzz on Twitter

One football fan expressed his displeasure by saying: “What do you think Vinicius Junior said to Richarlison that irritated him so much?

“Me: “Lukaku is superior to you.”

The near-fight occurred just four days after Richarlison greeted Vinicius with a heartfelt embrace after his heroics in the Champions League final.

Vinicius was hugged by the Everton hitman, who then placed his hand on his cap and appeared to crack a joke.
