Alonso seems to have no problem with the incident.
Alonso stated that he won’t be seeking a lengthy ban for Rangers assistant McPherson in light of the appalling events that took place during a live game on Sky Sports. The Spaniard added, “It’s frustration. “It’s not how I would express my annoyance, but that’s what it was, and I know what happened.”
He sensed a tiny bit of contact before hearing McPherson refer to him as a “little rat.” The manager has no idea why. But during the game, he got along just fine with them. Yet in all honesty, it means nothing to him. It may remain here as an element of the game.
“I don’t want him to be suspended or blacklisted,” he said. “Although it is not what you want to see, for me it is not a huge deal,” the manager continued. However, Alonso said that he had every right to rejoice at Hayes’ equaliser.
