Reason for Interruption

The individual, donning a t-shirt with the message “Stop bombing Palestine” and carrying a Palestine flag, even had the flag on his face mask.

The Interruption occurred while Virat Kohli was at bat with KL Rahul, following three quick wickets for India. Captain Rohit Sharma contributed a brisk 47, but Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer failed to make an impact, both getting out for just 4 runs each.

This incident unfolded after Australia won the toss, and skipper Pat Cummins made the surprising decision to bowl first on a slow pitch at Motera.
