Carolina Panthers defeats Denver Broncos.

Sam Darnold, the Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback, guided his side to a victory over the Denver Broncos by throwing for two touchdowns in the 23-10 victory. In Sunday’s victory over the Broncos, Darnold completed 158 of his throws for 164 yards and one touchdown.

Darnold received his reward on Monday when Panthers interim head coach Steve Wilks revealed that Darnold would start the team’s upcoming game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Baker Mayfield was the quarterback for the Carolina Panthers when the season began, but after a 1-4 record, Matt Rhule was fired. P.J. Walker took over as the starter after Mayfield was benched and went 2-3 before Mayfield was brought back into the lineup due to injury. Darnold should maintain his position for the remainder of the season if he can perform well.

Broncos QB Russell Wilson was trolled for yet another horrible performance during the game.

Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos were completely outmatched by the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. They dominated, winning 23-10, with the only points scored by the Broncos coming from a botched punt inside the end zone and a last-second touchdown with the game already settled.

Star defensive end Brian Burns recorded one of his two sacks for the day in the second quarter (part of a 10-sack effort on the season). He suddenly started to rejoice, spreading his arms widely. People instantly surmised that he was making fun of Wilson for frequently praying in the centre of the field.

This appeared to be a copy of the Broncos quarterback’s famously awkward pregame position in the middle of the field with cameras surrounding him in London. Burns was questioned over the post-victory sack celebration. He had indeed mocked the quarterback’s prayers, he had to concede with a smile.
