Natasha has gained popularity in no time.

The internet was flooded with images of a Pakistani woman supporting her nation following their victory against New Zealand in the T20 World Cup’s first semi-final on November 9 in Sydney.

People started following her on social media.

As you may already be aware, the internet is still unstoppable, and tireless web sleuths were able to track down the “viral Pakistani girl” from the semi-final between Pakistan and New Zealand. Natasha had about 1,500 Instagram followers at the time of the match when the cameras focused on her.

But in just 15 hours, her account has unexpectedly experienced a huge influx of new followers. Natasha had over 35,000 followers on the image- and video-based social media site by Thursday midday, India time.

This occurs frequently. There is nothing wrong with people going viral for a single incident or point in time that might make them famous pretty quickly.

Natasha’s subsequent events, however, demonstrate just how dysfunctional the internet is right now and how attention-seekers will stop at nothing to increase their social media following, even if it means harming others.

Too many fake accounts were created with her viral photos.

Natasha soon learned that numerous false accounts had been created in her name within a short period of time. These identities were probably using her real account’s photos to upload as their own, earning them all of that social media influence.

Desperate folks who just wanted to see more of her photos followed those accounts without a second thought and began communicating with the fake users as if they were old friends.

When it came to the fake accounts, how far did things go off the rails? In addition, a fake Twitter account created in her name and filled with pictures and videos went viral online and quickly garnered over 24,000 followers. A false Instagram account with almost 188,000 followers was also created.

Natasha clarified with a video on her Insta.

Natasha published a video from her real Instagram account asking people to report all the fake accounts because she is annoyed by them and some of them are even on platforms where she does not even have a real account.

Even the video below, which Natasha released first as an Instagram story, was stolen and shared by a fake Twitter account.

Pakistan has advanced to the world cup final.

With a masterful performance, Pakistan defeated New Zealand, the runners-up from the previous tournament, in the semifinal to go to their third T20 World Cup final. After the game, Pakistani fan Natasha wished for an India vs. Pakistan championship to be held on November 13 in Melbourne.

After she was seen dancing and supporting the Pakistani squad with the national flag at the Sydney stadium, Natasha’s photos and videos from her alleged social media account went viral online.
