Novak Djokovic was back to his petulant best as he snowballed during his bronze medal contest with Pablo Carreno Busta and throws his tennis racquet with the stands
Prior to his foray into the Tokyo Olympics, everything was going extremely hunk dory for Novak Djokovic. The top seeded player at the games, Djokovic looked to nail his player into tennis player winning the Golden Slam.

Having won the French Open and Wimbledon previously, a gold medal at the games would see Djokovic get his hands around the much coveted Golden Slam. And he looked to be sailing towards the final as well prior to being halted by Alexander Zverev in the semi-finals.
Defeated by the Russian on Friday, Djokovic saw his dream come to a sombre end. However, he still had a shot at the bronze medal come Saturday as he strived to salvage his defeat in the last four.
Up against Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta, Djokovic was widely touted to take third place in the Tokyo Olympics. However, the Serbian was quickly made aware of the sturdy challenge he was going to face on the day as Pablo Carreno Busta took the first set 6-4.
Novak Djokovic Throws His Racquet Into The Stands
While Djokovic hit back hard in the second to restore parity, a gritty and determined Pablo refused to go away so easily. He won the all important third 6-3 to claim the bronze medal in Japan and with it wrap up a highly successful debut at the Olympics.
Where Busta was rejoicing in his unprecedented triumph, Djokovic was more than just gloomy. The top seeded player showcased a raft of his whims and fancies on the day with the hue and cry from him being extremely unsavoury.

Djokovic who was irked with the way in which the showdown was unfurling ended up throwing his racquet around on a string of occasions. His tantrums saw him launch the racquet once into the net before going to throw it all the way into the stands subsequently.
Despite his antics, Djokovic surprisingly received no penalty or warning.
