Watch: Mystery Hand Spotted Under The Ring At WWE Hell In A Cell Main Event

Fans spotted a mystery hand sticking out of the ring during the last WWE pay-per-view, Hell in a Cell. It was attempting to hide evidence of a crash pad.

Even though it’s an acknowledged truth that the art of professional wrestling is more coordination and entertainment and less a showcase of strength, true fans respect the sport and keep this discrete. But every once in a while, a slip or two emerges and becomes the butt of a joke. One such slip happened last Sunday during the main event of WWE Hell in a Cell.

Mystery Hand Appears at WWE Hell in a Cell

It happened during the hell in a cell match between Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship. At one point in the match, Lashley chokeslamed McIntyre from the apron and the cameras showed him taking a bump through a table. But they did not catch the full impact for a reason. In the next shot though, fans noticed a hand pushing broken table pieces up next to him as a crash pad to lessen the impact. Watch the full video below.

Yes, the fans are well aware that the media they are consuming is entertainment and not live. But this slip was certainly serious. Almost like watching your favorite singer perform on-stage, knowing they must have to lip-sync a few songs. But when you notice their lips don’t actually sync, it’s only fair to be furious thinking how they can’t even fake it properly.

Despite McIntyre taking a lighter bump due to the crash pad, the former WWE Champion surely sustained some wounds as a result of the 25-minute showdown with Lashley. Hell in a Cell was one of the unfortunate pay-per-views which had to take place within the Thunderdome.

WWE resumes live action from next month and there is no way they will be able to pull off such stunts in the presence of passionate fans who can spot such slips even through a virtual screen.
