Mohamed Salah was seen distancing himself from the pitch invader who tried to click a picture with him in the aftermath of Liverpool vs Southampton at Anfield
Despite being devoid of the services of Roberto Firmino when Southampton came calling, Liverpool ran riot in their Saturday Premier League encounter.
The club trashed its opponent 4-0 on the day with Diogo Jota needing only a couple of minutes to open the scoring for the home side. He soon went onto double the club’s lead in the first half before Thiago added a third and Virgil van Dijk scored the club’s last goal to round up yet another pulsating display by Jurgen Klopp’s reds.

While Mohamed Salah didn’t manage to add to his goal tally, the Egyptian player was again crucial for the club. He sent the ball across the face of the goal to set up Jota’s second with his searing speed persistently wrecking havoc in Southampton’s backline.
However, despite the comprehensive win for Liverpool on the night, Salah was in no mood to be heckled by a pitch invader who ran towards him after the clash. As Salah was celebrating the result with his peers at the final whistle, a fan tried to snag a selfie with Salah with the Liverpool player unwilling to indulge him.

Salah was seen distancing himself from the pitch invader with him clearly irked at the fan’s presence. This isn’t the first time a Liverpool player has refused to oblige a pitch invader for a selfie with Virgil van Dijk previously seen pushing away a fan who had tried to click a picture with him during a post-match interview.
