Despite this, Haas has announced that after the shunt, the German will not compete in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix again. Mick took to Twitter that he was feeling better after the crash with him out of any kind of danger as well as he steps up his recovery after escaping any serious injuries.

After losing the back end of his Haas VF-22 after riding over the kerbs in Q2, Schumacher spun severely into the wall, causing massive damage to his car.

According to a statement from the FIA, Schumacher was brought to the circuit’s Medical Centre and then by helicopter to the King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital for a “precautionary check.”

Haas confirmed Schumacher’s absence from Sunday’s race, writing on Twitter, “In light of today’s qualifying incident, Mick Schumacher will not participate in tomorrow’s #SaudiArabianGP.”

“We can confirm that Mick has been freed from hospital and has returned to his hotel,” the team tweeted afterwards.

Haas also stated that they will race only one car, that of teammate Kevin Magnussen, who qualified P10, rather than reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi, who will be in attendance with the team this weekend.

Updates From HAAS Principal

Meanwhile, Haas Team Principal Guenther Steiner confirmed that he spoke with Schumacher after the collision, stating that he spoke with him immediately. He further called his mother a couple of times to keep her informed about his health.

Currently Schumacher has no visible injuries. The regulatory body just wanted to check on him and do some scans to make sure there was no harm from the forces.

Any risks tomorrow are off the table, Steiner stressed. HAAS have a trip to Melbourne in two weeks, and it’s best if they concentrate on that to ensure that he arrives in excellent shape.

Schumacher About His Current Health Condition

Meanwhile, Schumacher rushed to Twitter, sharing a photograph and stating, “Hi everyone, I just wanted to say that I’m fine.” Thank you for your thoughtful messages. @haasf1team, the car felt excellent, and we’ll be back stronger.”
