On Monday, November 7, the Dream Chasers CEO attended courtside at the Wells Fargo Center to witness his local Philadelphia 76ers play the Phoenix Suns.

The Philadelphia rapper watched the Suns-Sixers game at the Wells Fargo Center on Monday night while sitting courtside with Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin and Will Makris. In the second quarter, the rapper of “Dreams & Nightmares” became involved when his stretched-out legs impeded the referees who were sprinting alongside the court near the Sixers’ bench.

Coach Doc Rivers of the Sixers was nearby as the referee fell, and he helped the referee get back up. MM apologised to the referee right away.

Following his amusing antics that resulted from accidentally tripping a referee during an NBA game, Meek Mill has continued to grab attention. As the video soon gained popularity on social media, Meek Mill turned to Twitter to admit that he had apologised to the referee while quoting a JAY-Z song.

On his Instagram Stories, Meek Mill discussed the trip that made headlines across the world. He was sitting courtside with business associate and former 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin and New York hospitality tycoon Will Makris.

He jokingly captioned a picture of his clumsy legs and black footwear, “No more Reggie forces [collision emoji].

Joel Embiid’s 33 points and 10 rebounds helped the 76ers defeat the Suns by a score of 100-88, making up for Meek’s trip on the official. With 21 points each, Tobias Harris and Georges Niang also contributed. With a record of 5 wins and 6 losses, the Sixers are currently sitting in 10th place in the Eastern Conference.
