Manchester City fans were quick to take a jibe at their rivals as they sang “Carrick’s at the wheel” during City vs Everton
Ever since Manchester United decided they had seen enough of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the world of football has been left in shock. Ardent fans of opposing teams have been left extremely despondent with the news of the Norwegian’s departure, a manager whose inability to stem the rot made him a favourite amongst the remainder of the teams.
City Fans Mock Manchester United And Michael Carrick With “Carrick’s At The Wheel” Chant
While Manchester United are yet to announce a replacement, Michael Carrick has been handed over the job for the time being. And all Manchester City needed were six minutes to mock both their rivals and Carrick taking over charge as the interim manager.
City tribünleri "Carrick's at the wheel!" diye ritim tutarken Rodri, Manchester'ın diğer tarafına kadar uzanacak bir iletide bulunmuş. Ne gol ama.

Facing off against Everton at the weekend at the Etihad, chants of “Carrick’s at the wheel” came in from the concourses. The City fans were in full strength as they sang the chant in one voice to belittle Manchester United.
City meanwhile themselves wiped the floor with Everton as they ran away comfortable 3-0 winners on the day. Despite being devoid of the services of a slew of instrumental attacking names, the hosts had little qualms in putting aside a dreary Everton defensive unit.
Expect the “Carrick’s at the wheel” chant to be sung in other stadiums as well especially during Manchester United fixtures. The song is a reference to the notoriously famous “Ole’s at the wheel” chant, one inspired by Rio Ferdinand after he gleefully came rubbing his hands on live TV, asking Manchester United to repose faith in Ole.
