The two women, who were traveling in a car, became irate after some farmers halted their four-wheeler. The woman behind the wheel expressed her frustration by displaying a gesture with her middle finger, accusing the farmers of inappropriate physical contact.

The video commences with the woman in the car gesturing with her middle finger at the farmers who purportedly obstructed the road. She vehemently hurls insults at them, questioning why they stopped her vehicle.

In the midst of the argument, a man attempts to seize her mobile phone. The woman becomes increasingly angered, making allegations: “Aapne mujh par hath kyun uthaya? Aapne mujhe harass kiya hai. Aapne mujhe galat tarike se chua hai. (Why did you raise your hand at me? You have harassed me. You have touched me inappropriately).”

A protesting farmer attempts to alleviate the tension, but his endeavors prove futile. The exact time of the incident remains unknown at this moment.

From 6 AM to 4 PM, farmers are participating in the Bharat bandh. The shutdown significantly affects Punjab, where employees of state-owned Punjab Roadways, PUNBUS, and private public transport bus operators join the strike in solidarity with the protesting farmers.

Bharat Bandh Protest Updates

The impact extends to neighboring Haryana, where shops and commercial establishments remain closed. Meanwhile, the national capital, Delhi, is currently under heightened security and the Delhi Police are on high alert in anticipation of the ‘Bharat Bandh’ called for by officials of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha on Friday.

The objective behind the ‘Bharat Bandh’ is to exert pressure on the BJP-led central government to meet farmers’ demands, including the implementation of a legal guarantee for the minimum support price (MSP) for crops.

Following positive discussions held between Centre-farmers during a meeting concluded on the intervening night of Thursday-Friday, another set of meetings between farmer representatives and Union Ministers is scheduled for February 18.

However, tensions rose at the Shambhu border near Ambala, as Haryana Police employed tear gas shells to disperse protesting farmers attempting to move towards barricades. This incident occurred a day after talks between Union ministers and farmer leaders remained inconclusive.

The latest clash transpired on the fourth day of the farmers’ ‘Delhi Chalo’ march, organized by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, with the primary goal of compelling the government to meet their demands, including a legal guarantee for the minimum support price (MSP) for crops.
