Come 5 February, scores of multinational companies based in Pakistan took to social media platforms to peddle fabricated information against India and Kashmir. The posts threw weight behind the Kashmir Solidarity Day, one celebrated in Pakistan to hail terrorism in India and ask for annexing Kashmir from India.
Hyundai, Kia, Pizza Hut, Bosch, Atlas Honda, Domino’s and KFC were among some of the companies which embarked on this deranged agenda spreading task. And as the posts went viral, India’s foreign ministry took charge with the South Korean ambassador to India being issued over the post by Hyundai Pakistan and Kia Motors Hyderabad.
While other companies went onto issue apologies for the posts as the recognised the gargantuan business they are doing in India as compared to the scanty amount they are earning in Pakistan, a KFC India store in Nagpur has now gone viral. Its due to a banner hanging at the store, one which goes onto proclaim that every part including POK is a part of the country.
Employees are also seen raising chants of Hindustan Zindabad, ones Islamists, leftists and liberals have a problem again. Won’t be long before this incident is used to belittle Hindus and the incumbent Narendra Modi led BJP government as the left-leaning community and media cable scorch their eyes over the video.
