Internet viewers were outraged in 2011 after seeing gruesome photographs of a nude lady inside a dead animal. Jasha Lottin and her boyfriend John Frost put their 32-year-old horse down owing to its poor health, according to HuffPost at the time.
According to the site, the pair shot and skinned the animal, but their next choice was how to make their story go viral.
Jasha got nude, crawled inside the dead horse, and had photos shot before they were posted on the internet.
The viral images are too gruesome to display here, but many people were talking about them during the time, urging others not to google Jasha’s name.
PICTURES RESULT IN A POLICE INVESTIGATION:
Fears of animal mistreatment prompted a police inquiry into Jasha and John’s viral narrative. Authorities did not arrest the pair, as per a criminal complaint acquired by HuffPost, since their activities were not considered unlawful in Oregon.
“The fact that this woman climbed into the horse while killing. And eating somehow doesn’t constitute a crime,” according to Washington County detective Dave Thompson.
“We would have had a prosecution for animal cruelty if they had murdered the horse only to take the photos.”
The publication included Jasha and John who subsequently fled Oregon when their tale gained national attention and received death threats.
