One of the most well-known online personality associated with MMA and the UFC, Hasbulla, was just arrested!

Along with a handful of his friends, the 20-year-old was arrested and charged with administrative offences.

Following Deontay Wilder and Tony Ferguson, this is the third arrest of a combat sports professional in recent memory.

Ironically, all three arrests were the result of traffic violations. According to a tip from Red Corner MMA, Hasbulla was apparently out with a few of his friends in Khabib Nurmagomedov’s native Dagestan.

They claim to be out in public celebrating the wedding of another friend. In a video that also shows other cars performing road antics and what look to be racing, Hasbulla can be seen inside a white car.

 

A side shot of Hasbulla’s white car, which had a big dent, was also seen in the video. Because of the roadside pranks they were playing, they were undoubtedly to blame.

At the end of the video, Hasbulla and six of his friends can be seen presenting themselves to police. They didn’t appear to be held for very long, though, since the internet sensation commented on the incident on his Instagram page.

Hasbulla speaks out about his detention in Dagestan

Hasbulla Magomedov uploaded a picture of himself and some friends standing in front of Dagestani police officers. He said in a story on Instagram:

We decided a little hype, black hype is also hype. This won’t happen again folks….sorry… Played a little had to answer.”

Islam Makhachev’s ally further clarified that he was not driving the car at the time of the incident.

Hasbulla’s popularity among the fan base hasn’t been the greatest lately. His attractive boyishness and childlike demeanour have made him famous.

Thanks to partnerships with NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal and boxing legend Mike Tyson, the social media celebrity has gained over 8.5 million followers on his Instagram account alone.

He was also recently criticised for a video surfaced showing him hitting his pet cat. Hasbulla denied any malice in the video, but it nevertheless drew a lot of criticism.
