In the midst of the unprecedented abuse Hasan has had to encounter, a video has emerged of the Pakistani bowler being left stranded by his side. The video is from Haris Rauf’s birthday celebrations during which Hasan had brought his mouth forward to get a piece of the cake but was denied of it.

While the memes which took birth in lieu of the video were all fun and games, what wasn’t so funny was the incredible barrage of hate sent down Hasan’s way by Pakistanis. Hasan was belittled for being a shia Muslim while his wife Samiyaa Arzoo was sent death and rape threats for being an Indian.
