TV sets in Pakistan once again had to suffer the brunt of the furor of irate Pakistanis who broke them after losing to Australia in the T20 World Cup 2021
Good old Pakistan. Ever since its inception, Pakistan has never failed to provided scores of moments to entertain the global community with the country losing any semblance it possesses about it as the days pass.
Flying in the air ahead of their semi-final clash with Australia in the T20 World Cup 2021, Pakistanis soon saw the roof come crashing around them as Matthew Wade took them to the cleaners. The Australian’s match winning knock saw him effortlessly loft Shaheen Shah Afridi out of the park as he smacked the Pakistani speedster for three sixes on the spin to knock Pakistan out of the world cup.
TV Sets Once Again Broken In Pakistan As Age Old Tradition Makes A Return
And like any defeat in the world cup, Pakistanis were back at what they do best. Social media was once again riddled with videos of Pakistanis taking to the streets to smash and break their TV sets, a ritual which has been assiduously carried out by fuming ardent cricket fans in the country.

Social media users managed to allay their fears as well as the videos emanated from Pakistan. With their being a little delay in the typical television bashing, it was feared that Pakistan’s waning economy might have lead to Pakistanis deciding to abstain from breaking their prized commodities.
However, rage and bemusing logic managed to triumph in the land once again. Those who couldn’t afford to hammer their TVs decided to mock and smear Hasan Ali online by abusing him for being a shia Muslim and having an Indian wife in Samiya Arzoo.
