What led to the fatal crash between Roy Nissany & Dennis Hauger And Latest Updates on Drivers

Dennis Hauger and Roy Nissany were engaged in a battle on the opening lap of the pre-British Grand Prix support race when the Israeli driver collided with his competitor on the entry to Vale and sent him off the track. Hauger was unable to prevent his car from skidding across the grass on the inside of the left-hander because the front-right tyre on it had been torn off the wheel rim. The Red Bull junior was launched into the air when his car slammed into the inner sausage kerb, but the collision was avoided thanks to the Prema’s forward sidepod and floor section colliding with the Nissany’s halo.

On the approach to the club, Roy Nissany pushed Dennis Hauger wide toward the conclusion of the opening lap. Nissany’s vehicle was hit at head height in the cockpit by the Red Bull junior’s vehicle, which had been propelled off the sausage kerb. Both drivers finished their races in the gravel trap and exited their vehicles. Hauger held his left wrist as he did so, while Nissany had a particularly lucky escape. At the start of lap two, the Safety Car was brought out, and it was there until the start of lap six.

Safety Concerns of Sausage Kerbs and Lifesaving Impact of Halo Support

The 2018 Belgian Grand Prix start crash, in which Fernando Alonso landed on Charles Leclerc, and the Max Verstappen-Lewis Hamilton collision at Monza last season are the most recent examples of the halo support system’s crucial life-saving performances. Due to the incident’s potential to send out-of-control cars flying into the air, safety concerns regarding the use of sausage kerbs have once again come to light.
