There was a crazy brawl.
Shaquille O’Neal’s long-simmering beef with the former All-NBA centre has mostly been rekindled as a result of Dwight Howard continuing his career in Taiwan, but over the weekend, while the NBA’s top players competed in the All-Star Game in Salt Lake City, Howard found himself attempting to break up a wild brawl and getting ejected for his efforts.
The two-point guards got into it when #0 Chen Hsiao-jung elbowed #14 Chiang Yu-an in the fourth quarter of a game between the Taoyuan Leopards and the TaiwanBeer HeroBears. The two were swiftly separated by the officials as they traded blows, but then a Herobears coach charged in from the sideline and began swinging at #0, eventually making his way back to the Leopards’ bench where all hell broke loose.

Dwight Howard was ejected.
There were some significant punches thrown and the entire incident dragged out for some time before both teams were finally separated totally and sent to their respective benches. Like in the NBA, leaving the bench results in an ejection, thus Howard was among the 12 players tossed for their roles in the altercation. Howard can be seen leaving the Leopards’ bench and appeared to be trying to mediate.
The Leopards are only 4-11 despite having Dwight Howard on the roster. Shaq was emphasising this during his protracted dispute with Dwight Howard. Although Howard is obviously just there for a check and most likely the hookers, their track record is nevertheless unexpected. They at least know how to fight.
A cold war between Shaq and Howard
Shaquille O’Neal just learnt about Howard’s achievements in Taiwan and had some things to say about them. The two big men haven’t really agreed on much, it’s fair to say, and Shaq was constant in his criticism of Dwight’s time spent travelling.
Dwight reportedly responded to Shaq’s comments through Instagram Live. Shaquille O’Neal was criticised by Howard for declaring that he should stop hating since Howard himself has never addressed Shaq in his life about his basketball career, family, children, or anything like that.
