Alien Ant Farm’s lead singer Dryden Mitchell is facing legal difficulties after a fan accused him of groping him with the video viral
He is charged with misdemeanour violence over an incident that allegedly occurred two months prior during an Alien Ant Farm concert at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale.
The magazine claims that concert footage shows Mitchell holding someone’s hand when they play their cover of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal.” The hand is then yanked toward his crotch and left there until the fan yanks it away.

According to reports, the Miami man, 45, filed a report with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department. “The reason for the delay in making a police report was that the occurrence was not sitting well with him,” the accuser is quoted as saying in the report, adding that he did not think it was suitable behaviour.

It appears that Mitchell will not be taken into custody. Whether or not he has a lawyer who can speak on his behalf remains unknown. The media attempted to contact him through his management on Thursday night were fruitless.
Right now, Mitchell, Mike Cosgrove, Terry Corso, and Tim Peugh make up Alien Ant Farm. In 2001, their rendition of “Smooth Criminal” was the most popular cover song on the Billboard Alternative charts.
