Cleveland lost to Clippers
Despite Spida’s 30-point performance, Cleveland lost just its second game of the season on Monday against the Clippers, dropping 117-119 and ending an 8-game winning run.
The Los Angeles Clippers overcame a 13-point deficit in the final five minutes to shock the Cleveland Cavaliers by winning 119-117. Paul George scored 26 points and completed the game-tying three-point play with 37 seconds remaining.

The Clippers completed the game on a 21-6 run to claim their fourth victory in five games, as Norman Powell scored 13 of his team-high 17 points there. Cleveland had been unbeaten since the first game in Toronto, and it had a 112-100 lead before the Clippers scored 15 points in a row while the Cavaliers missed seven attempts in a row and made three turnovers.
Mobley added a season-high 26 points before fouling out in the final minute, while Donovan Mitchell added 30 points on the strength of eight 3-pointers. Mitchell scored 30 points for the sixth time in nine games with his new squad, but he failed to make a field goal in the final 11 seconds.
Garland led the Cavaliers to their longest winning streak since late 2017 with 19 points and 12 assists, and Jarrett Allen contributed 10 points and a season-high 20 rebounds as the streak came to an abrupt stop. The Clippers rallied and prevailed despite being without two significant veterans thanks to 20 points from Morris.

Mitchell, 26, and his girlfriend Tinara Westbrook decided to get over the loss at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, where they ate leisurely till a few hours of the morning. This year has been successful for the three-time All-Star and hair entrepreneur after they made their relationship “Instagram official” in September.
