This was Watson’s first time playing on an NFL field in 700 days.

On Sunday, Watson made his Browns debut in front of a hostile crowd, with fans of his previous team jeering him as he lined up under centre. Almost every woman who accused Watson of sexual assault was represented by attorney Tony Buzbee, who made the announcement that at least 10 of his clients would be present at the game.

Fans were not happy with Deshaun.

Watson’s family joined him at NRG Stadium, where they cheered him on while donning #4 shirts. Prior to the Browns’ opening offensive drive, Deshaun had a smile on his face, but it was clear from the television broadcast that many fans were not pleased to see him.

Watson’s No. 4 jersey from the Texans (1-10-1) and the Browns were worn by many fans at the game, but there were also haters who booed him loudly each time he touched the ball. Watson, who hasn’t played since 2020, looked a little rusty because the Browns finished up going 3-and-out on their opening drive.

Despite Watson’s return being rusty, the Browns defeat the Texans 27-14.

Deshaun Watson struggled on Sunday in his first game back after nearly two years away. Despite his difficulties, Cleveland’s defence and special teams made sure the Browns won.

Watson played poorly in his first game in 700 days, but Donovan Peoples-Jones’ punt return for a score and two defensive touchdowns were more than enough to help the Browns defeat the struggling Houston Texans 27-14.

After serving an 11-game NFL suspension for sexual misconduct charges, Watson made his return for the Browns (5-7) against his former team in the same stadium where he played his previous game. In that game, Watson threw for 131 yards and an interception.
