Denny Hamlin flipped off Alex Bowman after the NASCAR Cup Series Xfinity 500 playoff race ended
Denny Hamlin was in no mood to reconcile with Alex Bowman after his race was abruptly ruined by Alex Bowman on the day.
With just seven laps left to go in the NASCAR Cup Series playoff race on Sunday, Denny looked set to ease his way to a win. Despite Bowman persistently snapping at his heels, Denny managed to keep his opponent at bay, refusing to allow the Chevrolet man any kind of leeway.

However, as Bowman found himself on the inside of Denny, he decided the moment was right to try and overtake the driver. It was a blunder of a move however, one which saw Bowman spin out of control and crash his car into Hamlin’s Toyota.
The move not only saw Hamlin relinquish his top spot but eventually saw him end up a solid places below where he was placed. It was a calamitous incident for the Toyota driver, one which left him seething as he decided to confront Bowman immediately after the race.

Bowman took home top honours on the day while Hamlin had to settle for 24th spot after being battered by the race winner. Hamlin went onto talk about how Bowman was a hack in a disgruntled tirade.
