A disturbing video of Saddle River Day School women’s basketball coach Danny Brown pushing a teenage girl onto a bed in a resort room has gone viral. The incident, which is thought to have occurred on December 30, last year around 12 a.m., shows the girl struggling to get free of the coach’s grasp as he continues to push her towards the mattress.
Danny Brown has been identified as the accused in the unverified video. NorthJersey.com first reported it, and Jonathan Messer posted it on Twitter, writing, “BB Saddle River Girls Coach Danny Brown was drunk when he tried to get one of his 14-year-old players to sleep in a hotel room while on the road. Bergen County’s worst kept secret. Everyone who has turned a blind eye is equally responsible. Parents who continue to give their daughters should be ashamed.”
The basketball coach at a New Jersey prep school is being investigated after a video surfaced showing him allegedly assaulting a girl in a hotel room.
The school indicated in a news release acquired by NorthJersey.com that it has “already communicated with appropriate native authorities on the incident and can collaborate with them if required.” According to the school, Brown, who has worked with the school for over a decade, has agreed to cooperate with the inquiry. In addition, the school has contacted outside authorities “to launch an impartial probe to ascertain the circumstances of the situation.”
The school claimed in a letter to the community that they were aware of a video featuring “contact between a staff member and a kid.”
However, the name was not mentioned in the letter. DailyMail tried getting in touch with the coach and Saddle River Day School for comments. But there was no response.
What is included in the video?
The video shows a trainer grabbing a teenage girl in a button-down shirt and black trousers from behind her and pushing it towards her bed. Her unidentified girl keeps pushing her body towards the bed, shivering to get out of her hands. You can watch a video of her moving her ass in the corner of the bed before she falls to her floor.
The video shows that Brown is cutting the video when he goes downstairs to catch her. According to NorthJersey.com, the incident happened while the girl went to Tampa from December 29th to 31st, 2021 for a Christmas tournament.
