Christian Pulisic gave USMNT the lead during the USA vs Mexico soccer match after which he celebrated by showing his man in the mirror shirt
Over the years, the USA vs Mexico rivalry has taken shape into one of the most feisty and fierce rivalry in the world of soccer. Both the countries hate seeing each other’s face when they take on each other on the pitch, sides which have traditionally always given everything when they face off.
2021 has been a good year for the USMNT team with the side making a mockery of Mexico. And the same continued when the two sides stepped out to square off against each other in the FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifiers with USA managing to ease past Mexico 2-0 on the night.
Christian Pulisic Brings Out Man In The Mirror Celebration After Scoring In USA vs Mexico
The win was sparked by Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic who had an instant impact when he came off the bench for the United States. The starlet scored a thunderous header to give his side the lead, a goal which made heads turn owing to Pulisic’s celebration in the aftermath of his goal.

Pulisic was seen unveiling a shirt with the message, man in the mirror as he ran towards the ecstatic USA fans. The message was a reference to Mexican goalkeeper, Ochoa’s comments earlier this week who had said that the US soccer side copied Mexico and wanted to become like it.
“I think you guys know the message, I don’t want to speak on it too much, it’s not a big thing, not trying to cause controversy,” Pulisic said when quizzed about his celebration.
“I actually wrote it in the mirror,” the Chelsea man went onto joke.
