Chelsea fans have finally come up with a new chant for Croatian midfielder Matteo Kovacic, video of which has gone viral
Failing to get meaningful time at Real Madrid, Matteo Kovacic decided it was prudent to switch to greener pastures. Coming to Chelsea on loan at first, the midfielder took little time in stamping his authority to see the club based out of London repose faith in his services.

He’s since gone onto become a mainstay of the club’s midfielder, a player whose ball handling abilities paired with his ability to transition the ball from defence to attack and traverse his way past tight spaces have made him a fan favourite at the club. His recent absence due to injury had a glaring impact on Chelsea’s modus operandi, a plight which alluded towards the Croatian’s sprawling expertise.

And he’s finally been serenaded with a chant, one whose lyrics go as,

He signed for Chelsea
In a transfer ban
Chelsea meanwhile finally managed to stem a run of winless matches in the Premier League with Romelu Lukaku scoring his first goal since September to power the club to a 3-1 win at the weekend. And with Liverpool losing to Leicester City on Tuesday, Chelsea once again has a chance to make its presence felt in the title hunt, one which is being spearheaded by Manchester City at the moment.
The club is also traversing for a replacement for Ben Chilwell after the player was ruled out for the remainder of the season owing to impending surgery.
