The Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc £265,000 Richard Mille watch was stolen from his wrist in Tuscany last April with the video of the theft now viral
Four people have been arrested in connection with the theft. Three men and one woman were taken into custody, and when one of their homes was searched, two expensive watches were found. At the moment, it is not clear which of the watches belongs to the F1 star.

The police showed a video of the alleged thieves meeting up with a second person on a scooter. The theft happened when Leclerc was in the city of Viareggio in Tuscany and fans started gathering to take pictures with him. But in the end, fans crowded around the F1 driver as he signed autographs for them, and a thief stole his watch. Leclerc didn’t know that his watch had been stolen until he told the police about it later.

Richard Mille is a big sponsor of Charles Leclerc, and other racers like the brand as well. After a bad start, Leclerc will be hoping for a better Formula One season. He had to quit Sunday’s Australian GP after a crash on the first lap.

He is now 10th in the championship, 63 points behind Max Verstappen, who is in first place. The driver was also angry when F1 made it illegal to ride a bike around the track before a race. He insisted that he wouldn’t walk around the track. Instead, he would just watch videos of it.
The Italian police said in a statement that when they searched the home of one of the suspects, they found two “valuable watches, the provenance of which will be investigated further” The investigation is still going on, and it’s not clear yet if Charles Leclerc will get his watch back.
Who is Charles Leclerc?
Charles Leclerc is a race car driver from Monaco. He currently drives for Scuderia Ferrari in Formula One. He started racing in Formula One in 2018 with Sauber and has since become one of the most promising young drivers on the grid. Leclerc started racing in karts, where he won several titles before moving up to single-seater racing in 2014. He moved up quickly, winning the GP3 Series in 2016 and the FIA Formula 2 Championship the next year.
