However, after finally having three bail pleas quashed, Mendy was finally granted bail on scores on conditions. Among those were him being ordered to wear an electronic tag and check into a local police station each day along with remaining confined inside his house.
The 27 year old French and Manchester City defender was finally seen out in the public for the first time since being arrested with him pictured wearing an ankle tag as he turned up to post bail at a police station.
Mendy is charged with seven rapes on four women and one count of sexual assault has been ordered to stay under house arrest for the next six months after being released from the HMP Strangeways prison. He was chauffeur driven from his house to the Macclesfield police station with an onlooker saying: “This blacked out people carrier pulled up outside the police station right outside the door and this guy just jumped out.
“He had his hood up and a mask on and walked quickly in.”
Maybe Mendy can pass the time by cracking jokes on Twitter now with him having no women to turn to, to quench his insatiable thirst for lust.
