Was Kailee beaten to death by Maurnice DeClue and is she alive or dead as Hazelwood East High School St Louis fight video goes viral
The female student who got hurt in the Missouri High School fight named Kailee, was taken to the hospital. She’s still in really bad shape but is alive at the moment. In a video, Kailee can be seen being thrown to the ground by another girl. Then, the girl hits Kailee’s face many times and slams her head onto the hard ground.
Kailee gets knocked out, and her body shakes a bit while some other students start fighting nearby. The Hazelwood School District said it’s really sad when kids get hurt. They want everyone to take responsibility and work together to stop bullying and fighting in our community, especially for the sake of our children.
Ok so I did some digging and I found a witness to The East Hazelwood Brawl and a best friend of the victim Kailee. Maurnice DeClue the assailant is arrested. Kailee is said to be alive but in a coma. The fight was over her bf getting jumped. Parents were present. pic.twitter.com/M58oftWKO7

‘A 15-year-old girl got arrested on Saturday for hurting someone in the incident,’ said Vera Clay, a spokeswoman for the St. Louis County Police Department. On Sunday, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey revealed that the person who hurt someone should be treated like an adult in court.
He further added that, ‘this kind of terrible behaviour has no place in Missouri or anywhere else.’ He’s praying for the victim and thinks the criminal should face serious charges. If the victim dies, the crime should be treated as a homicide.
The girl has since been identified as black student, age 15 Maurnice DeClue of the Hazelwood East High School, St. Louis, Missouri. She was also a volleyball player at the school.
Even though the fight happened away from the school, some people worry that removing resource officers from schools has made violence worse. In 2021, the Hazelwood Board of Education decided to take out all the school resource officers.
They did this because the police department wouldn’t train the officers in diversity, equality, and inclusion like the district wanted. The police department revealed they think their officers already get enough training, including important topics like diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Parents told the board that taking out the school resource officers was a bad idea because fights happen at the school every day. The person who got hurt in the fight on Friday is still in very bad shape as of now, listed as being in a critical condition with Kailee still in the hospital. Contrary to rumors online, Kailee is not dead but alive.
