The megastar Chiranjeevi and the budding filmmaker K.S. Ravindra, better known as Bobby, work together for the first time on the movie Waltair Veerayya. The director made his directing debut with the 2014 action comedy Power, which starred Ravi Teja. He received the Best Debut Director Award at the Santosham Film Awards and will be working on his fifth project as a director.

Actress Shruti Haasan co-stars with Chiranjeevi in the movie’s starring position. The celebrity used social media to introduce the actress as the film’s leading lady on the occasion of International Women’s Day in 2022. To tell his admirers this news, he shared a photo of them together on social media.
According to sources, Chiranjeevi plays a police officer in the film who is trying to tackle the worrying crime rate in a seaside town. Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is reportedly set to make a special cameo appearance in the film, which is said to have a Sri Lankan setting.
The movie which is made on a budget of Rs.70-80 crore has already sold its digital rights to Netflix for Rs.50 crore.
